A future episode of Nashville will apparently be so epic that it's causing the cast and crew to put in extra work.

Christina Aguilera Works On Her Lines For 'Nashville'

On Saturday, series writer Debra Fordham posted a couple photos from filming where she mentioned that something pretty intriguing will be happening soon. In a picture that shows Eric Close (Teddy), Charles Esten (Deacon) and others, the writer tweeted, "Ep 320 is SO big, we're even working on a Saturday! Thanks @lennonandmaisy @CharlesEsten @EricRClose @ crew!!!"

As it turns out, it appears that something crazy might happen with Jeff and Layla since they spent their Saturday on set as well. As they pose for the camera in another picture that Fordham tweeted, she wrote, "Look who else is here for Saturday fun... It's @theoliverhudson & @aubreypeeples #HereComesTrouble."

Will Scarlett Be Unprepared To Perform Again On 'Nashville?'

This leaves a lot of questions on what the writers have in store for this upcoming episode. Whatever takes place, it's doubtful that fans will want to miss out.

One storyline in particular that audiences are probably anxious over is the guest appearance from pop star Christina Aguilera. She will be on the series as a character named Jade who will face a tough dilemma in her music career.

"I can say that my character is a successful pop singer who desperately wants to move into the country world, as that is her true passion," Aguilera previously told The Hollywood Reporter. "But she is caught between her passion and what the label wants her to do."

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
