It's no longer a rumor -- the two new "American Idol" judges, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, have a serious beef. And their explosive fight is all caught on tape.

New details have surfaced about their argument, which took place on Oct. 2 during the North Carolina auditions. TMZ obtained the video of the fight and with the accompanied transcript, we now know what both Carey and Minaj were exactly saying. The two allegedly disagreed about a contestant's performance and the confrontation got so intense, Minaj walked off set and production of "American Idol" was halted for the day so the two judges could cool off.

According to TMZ, the transcript of the argument goes as follows:

Minaj: Think I'm playin? Think this sh*t is a f*cking joke? Think it's a joke? Think it's a joke? Think it's a joke? Say one more disrespectful thing to me, if you say one more disrespectful thing to me -- off with your head!

Carey: I am not being disrespectful.

Minaj: Off with your head, off with your head.

Minaj: Don't tell me I'm insecure, don't tell me I'm inadequate ... you gonna get sent [inaudible] just fall back; don't ... you don't know [inaudible] I don't feel inadequate. You're the insecure one sittin' up there running down her resume every five minutes.

Minaj: Every time you take a shot at me I'ma take it back, and if you gotta f*cking problem then handle it. I told them, I'm not f*cking putting up with your f*cking highness over there ... figure it the f*ck out. Figure it out.

Carey: whyyyy, whhyyyyy ...

Minaj: Figure it out

Carey: ... do I have a 3-year-old sitting around me???

Minaj: I'm not sitting here for 20 minutes and having you run down your resume everyday, No! Goodbye!

Carey: Listen ... I can't see my kids because you decided to make ... to have ... to have a little baby fit and going all around the stage.

Minaj: Good, well then go see them now, go see them now ... you're boring as f*ck, you're boring as f*ck.

At some point during Minaj's outburst, she said, "I'm gonna knock you out" and "If I had a gun, I would shoot her."

"AI" host Ryan Seacrest admitted on his radio show, "It got heated between Nicki and Mariah. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing, and that's gonna happen, and that's OK." He added, "It did go too far."

He later added, "It was intense, I'll be honest with you. And it was towards the end of the day, and there were just a few contestants to be seen...So it did get intense, and we did wrap after it."

However, Seacrest explained that because of the stars' big personalities, there were bound to be arguments.

"These are all very different individuals with different perspective and different opinion that provide for interesting conversation and dialogue and feedback for the contestants. Each one of those members of the panel this year is an essential ingredient to the sum of the show."

Carey's husband, Nick Cannon, spoke to Access Hollywood and commented how he was proud of the way his wife handled the situation.

"My wife is the strongest and classiest woman that I've ever met, if you watch the video, she just maintains her composure... I don't think she's moved by the theatrics and pageantry of it all. She signed up to do a job to help young people... this is like a sidebar. I hope that's not what this show becomes, about the catfights," he explained. "The show is solely about a singing competition, that's why America loves these shows, they want to see people reach a certain goal or win... and then to make it about something it's not, [it] kind of shows that the producers and the network are losing their foot a little bit."

Cannon added that these catfights will detract viewers attention from what the show's true purpose is.

"When you think about what the show is actually about and represents... I feel like it's taking away from the quality of what 'Idol' is all about. This is about people accomplishing their dreams, experts guiding these young people to do what they've done," he said.

But was their argument all just a publicity stunt to boost the show's waning ratings?

An E! Online source confirmed "It's real," although, the insider commented it will also make for "good TV." However, the Minaj/Carey fued is proving to be a "nightmare" for showrunner Nigel Lythgoe and his team.

TMZ claimed Minaj is furious with "Idol" producers, claiming Carey was told to stir the pot.
