She has finally confessed the truth about being transgender to her sister, Nicole (Reign Edwards) but Maya (Karla Mosley) is going to have to face the consequences of keeping her secret hidden for so long on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick's Plans For A Future With Maya Derailed

Though Nicole had stumbled across and learned the secret on her own before confronting Maya, the truth is still something she is having a hard time grasping, and no matter how Maya explains why she transitioned and tried deleting her past as Myron from the record, it is becoming increasingly more difficult for her to truly explain to Nicole how she knew she was destined to be a woman.

"How can you believe an idea over your own body the way that it came into this world?" she asks her sister in a preview clip for the Tuesday, March 24 episode.

3 Ways Maya's Secret Could Impact Her Future

Maya will continue explaining how she knew she was born in the wrong body and knew the change was necessary-and will try to justify the pain and hardship it caused their family by reminding Nicole the things she has since accomplished as Maya.

"My life has changed so much now," she says.

However, Nicole will still be hostile about the situation, and will reprimand her sister for never telling anyone-especially Rick (Jacob Young) the truth.

"You've told yourself this story so much that you truly believe that you're not lying to everyone," she says to Maya in the clip.

As a result of Maya's not telling anyone the truth, and likely not being ready to share the details just yet, Nicole may use the confession to her advantage.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
