In another exciting T20 World Cup matchup, Australia will face off against West Indies in the semi-finals on Friday, Oct. 5.

For the Aussies, it will be an opportunity to make it into the finals for the second straight time since 2010.  On the other hand, the West Indies squad will be looking to beat their very own demons, which has seemed to hinder their cricket performance since the late 1980's.

It will be make it or break it time for both of the teams, as they each look to pull out a victory but for different reasons.

One of the individual matchups that will most definitely impact the outcome of the game will be the battle between Australia's Shane Watson and West Indies' Chris Gayle. In terms of stats, Watson has the edge - he has scored 242 runs in his last five matches along with 11 wickets. However, Gayle hasn't been to shabby himself, as he's racked up 10 sixes in five matches, scored two 50's and is a serious threat to the opposition's bowling attack.

Mike Hussey has also played a part in Australia's T20 success. The star player has helped his squad immensely with his consistency through the innings. Hussey's performance has also seemed to raise Watson's play as well.
