Despite being voted out in the latest episode, Survivor: Worlds Apart player Max Dawson says that this is legitimately the best season of all time.

New 'Bromance' Brews on 'Survivor: Worlds Apart'

The "Survivor professor" was the fifth person voted out of Survivor: Worlds Apart during last week's episode of the show, but he still insisted recently that the season was about to become epic. Dawson spoke with SheKnows on Friday and gushed about Worlds Apart.

"Season 30 is the best season of Survivor, probably of all time, if not second best after Heroes Vs. Villains. No joke. I'm not Jeff Probst. My word is good. I'll tell you straight up that Caramoan was s---. I'll tell you straight out that Redemption Island is an embarrassment. It's a blemish on Survivor's legacy. Season 30, believe me, when this season ends, if you don't have s--- in your pants and a s----eating grin on your face, you're not watching the same show. This is an epic season."

Will Dragging His Tribe Down Too Much on 'Survivor'?

Dawson's bold statement is actually in line with Probst's own proclamations about this season. The longtime Survivor host said that Worlds Apart may be the best cast they've ever had, hyping it up constantly as one of the best seasons of all time. With this being the 30th season of the show, that is no small feat.

The pre-merge has certainly had its fair share of characters from eccentric Vince Sly to outspoken Lindsey Cascaddan. The show has trended towards emphasizing character moments rather than strategy, which is actually a change of pace for modern-era Survivor. It remains to be seen if these character moments will lead to some epic payoffs in the post-merge half of the season.

Survivor: Worlds Apart airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
