NBC is heading into its April 2015 TV schedule with the premieres of new series like A.D. and American Odyssey in the mix with continued favorites like The Voice and Law & Order: SVU.

Netflix April Releases Include 'The Babadook,' 'Noah,' 'Sons of Anarchy' & More

As it stands now, NBC is the only network set to premiere new programming in April. The network is slated to debut A.D.: The Bible Continues starting on Sunday, April 5, along with American Odyssey right after this.

A.D.: The Bible Continues is a 12-part miniseries that will begin on Sunday, April 5 (a.k.a. Easter Sunday) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The miniseries takes place after the events of the Bible. It is a sequel to the massively popular miniseries The Bible in 2013, which earned three Emmy nominations and millions of viewers.

American Odyssey premieres on Sunday, April 5 at 10 p.m. The series stars Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) as Sgt. Odelle Ballard a member of Special Forces who learns that North African jihadists are being funded by a private American corporation. When her entire unit is killed, she must escape and tell the truth about the cover-up. She learns that the enemy combatants are actually private military contractors.

NBC will go on with their other scheduling as planned in April.

Dateline NBC will air Sundays at 8 p.m.

The Voice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. while The Night Shift airs at 10 p.m.

The Voice Results Show airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. followed by sitcoms Undateable and One Big Happy at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively, and then Chicago Fire at 10 p.m.

Wednesdays continue to be "Women Crush Wednesdays" with The Mysteries of Laura at 8 p.m., Law & Order: SVU at 9 p.m. and Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m.

Thursdays is Dateline: The Real Blacklist at 8 p.m., The Blacklist at 9 p.m. and The Slap at 10 p.m.

Grimm airs Fridays at 8 p.m. followed by Dateline NBC at 9 p.m.
