Teen Wolf's Liam has come to look up to his Alpha but the Beta may soon lose faith in his pack leader.

'Eerily Human' Monsters To Terrify Viewers In 'Teen Wolf' Season 5, Jeff Davis Teases Darker Story

Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) is headed for a major mistake in season 5 of the MTV drama, and his ill-fated decision will have even his best friend questioning the True Alpha's leadership skills. For Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), Scott's only Beta, this could prove quite catastrophic.

"We're going to test Scott in big ways," series creator Jeff Davis told Buzzfeed. "He's done very well as a leader, but what happens when he fails? What happens when everyone's faith in him is tested? He's going to go through a lot of difficulty this season.

While the rest of Scott's pack has strong connections to each other, Liam is the crew's newbie. Without Scott, the young werewolf may only have BFF Mason to turn to.

"Liam looks up to Scott," Sprayberry explained to Seat42F. "He hasn't had that father figure his whole life and he finally does now with his new stepfather but he hasn't always had that [and] he hasn't always had friends like that. So he really looks up to Scott and really enjoys his presence and really looks for him."
