Rumor has it that two actors on Fox's hit series Empire are dating in real life.

Apparently Trai Byers (who plays Andre), and Grace Gealey (who plays Anika, the ex-fiancée of Andre's father and arch nemesis of his mother) are Hollywood's newest It couple. After rumors began swirling that the two were dating earlier this month, an insider confirmed the news with Us Weekly magazine Wednesday.

"They started seeing each other during the shooting of the show. There was an instant attraction, people working on the show are aware about it. When they all hang out together they'll cuddle and give a kiss, but it's nothing obscene."

Byers is actually a year older than Gealey. He's 31 and she's 30.

A second source chimed in with, "They are having a great time together."

Now that Empire's first season is over (it certainly ended with a bang as 16.7 million people tuned in in the month of March alone), the two have a little more alone time to spend together. Word is they'll be going on a romantic getaway together.

A third insider added, "Trai and Grace are super serious. They started dating in the middle of the season and are completely in love."

The romance is definitely an interesting one considering the characters they play on the series. Anika is a sneaky opportunist who even hooked up with Andre's younger brother Hakeem to get back at their father, Lucious Lyon, after their split.
