NCIS star Pauley Perrette had a close call Wednesday with death.

The 45-year-old actress shared on Twitter Wednesday, "So I almost died today, for real."

She then went into a detailed description of what happened.

McGee Gets Jealous On Upcoming Episode Of 'NCIS'

Perrette was cruising down Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles.

She said a guy coming off of the freeway ramp from the 101 "BLEW OFF THE STOP SIGN" and therefore "barreled" right into her car.

"I bless my car and pray for God's protection," she dished about each time she takes to the road.

She revealed that the one time she forgot to bless her car and pray last year, it wound up totaled since "a guy blowing a red while texting" plowed into her.

Perrette managed to avoid the collision this time since she "spun out of it" by steering hard to the left.

"Unbelievable," she stated at the outcome, adding, "I could see his eyes he was within less than an inch of me and going at highway speeds, blowing the stop sign. I'm not sure where I'd be right now if every single action had not come to fruition exactly as it did."

She believes if things didn't pan out as they did she would have died: "[T]he end of life as I know it," she said.

"I am full of gratefulness," she gushed as she shared she was tweeting from the safety of her home surrounded by her dogs.

Can you imagine NCIS without Perrette's character? We definitely can't and we're glad she's okay.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
