Connie Britton Admits She 'Would Love' To Return To 'American Horror Story'

Farmiga recently spoke with MTV News (video featured below) while promoting her new film The Final Girls and explained what she thought of Gaga being cast in season 5 of American Horror Story.

"I hope she can scream!" Farmiga said.

Fans of Gaga who have been to her concerts likely know that she is certainly capable of screaming so she should be fine on the horror anthology series.

Farmiga starred in the first season of American Horror Story as troubled teen Violet Harmon and returned for American Horror Story: Coven as young witch Zoe Benson. She sat out of both Asylum and Freak Show.

The actress was asked if she was still watching American Horror Story, to which she said she has not yet watched Freak Show.

"I need to get the right group of people who will just support me," she admitted. "I literally hate horror things, and it's my friends up on screen. They're dying! It's emotional!"

American Horror Story is very well known for killing off most of its main characters by the time the season is over. This is part of the luxury of each season being its own self-contained story. Farmiga was part of a big twist in the first season of the show when it was revealed that she was a ghost.

It is unknown if Farmiga will return for season 5, which is expected to star Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny.

American Horror Story: Hotel is expected to premiere in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
