Chatter On Daphne's Issues & Her Love Life On 'Switched At Birth'

A number of fans commented on how excited they are to see what happens where one person guessed that a pregnancy scare could be a possibility.

Considering that the series is known for taking on a lot of compelling situations, there is a wide range of potential incidents to happen. One of the most controversial storylines so far was Bay's campus assault, so it might be tough to beat that.

In an interview with Flavorwire, Weiss admitted that she thought there would be some negative feedback after the assault took place. But as it turned out, the reaction was quite the contrary.

"I was prepared for (some) women and rape survivors to be really angry that we were telling a story in which the act is clearly not labeled 'assault,'" the creator said. "But to my surprise, women (and survivors) are just really happy that we are putting the story out there and getting the conversation going."

Switched at Birth returns this summer on ABC Family.
