Ukrainian 19-year-old Anastasiya Shpagina has become an internet sensation for her attempt to look like a real-life anime girl, calling herself by the anime name Fukkacumi and going to extreme lengths to complete her transformation with the help of makeup.

With her heavy makeup, dyed hair and huge eyes, Shpagina wrote on her vk.com page, "I'm not like a doll, a doll is like me."

The anime cartoons and computer animations is very popular in Japan. The characters usually have huge eyes and heads, very disproportionate to the rest of their body, the Daily Mail reported. They also noted that Shpagina has already lost dramatic weight to resemble anime characters and is said to spend "30 minutes painstakingly applying her dramatic make-up to each one of her eyes."

Whether Shpagina has already had plastic surgery done to further the transformation remains unknown, though recent reports suggest that she is considering the procedure on her eyes to help her complete the doe-eyed look.

The teen posted a tutorial video on Youtube showing viewers the secrets to how she applies her eye makeup, which takes her about an hour to do. The video is a little over six minutes long and at time of publication, it had over 3 million views.

Shpagina lives in Odessa, Ukraine, and is good friends with Valerie Lukyanova, 21, who sparked controversy back in the spring when she had plastic surgery done to become a real-life Barbie.
