After X Factor New Zealand contestant Joe Irvine was horrendously criticized on stage, it appears that the singer is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Natalia Kills & Willy Moon Fired From 'X Factor New Zealand'

On Thursday, Irvine took to his Twitter page to post a couple videos that show how things appear to be picking up after the rough incident took place in a recent episode. This involved former judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon lashing out at Irvine with comments like "disgusting" and "cheap and absurd."

One of Irvine's videos shows him in a restaurant singing the classic Johnny Nash song "I Can See Clearly Now." This may be a way of saying that "the rain has gone" after the situation happened and he can move on.

Irvine added another video of himself in a car where he thanks his fans for all their support. "Shout-out to all my fans- thank you all very much for supporting me," he said in the clip. He then mentioned to stay tuned for the next episode on Monday and he hopes the viewers will like his song.

When Kills and Moon bashed the contestant's performance, they were let go from the series. Kills broke her silence on the incident via Twitter.

"A lot goes on behind-the-scenes of a reality show and what you see isn't always the whole story," she wrote. "The show brought me on to bring my passion, dramatic expression and perspective. I was encouraged to be outspoken and things got out of hand. Joe, I hope you can forgive me and I wish you all the best! Be natural, be unconventional and be you! Love, Natalia Kills"
