Chris Brown and Rihanna's reconciliation may not have been approved by many, including Karrrueche Tran, but the couple has the support of one unlikely fan, Oprah Winfrey.

When ExtraTV caught up with the media mogul in Houston and asked the host her opinion on the pop singers working on their friendship, Winfrey said she has "no judgment about it."

"I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it," Winfrey told Extra TV."That's why I can sit there and have such a great time with her because I do all my interviews with no judgment whatsoever. If that's how you choose to lead your life, that's really okay."

The billionaire admitted she wasn't surprised of Rihanna's rumored reunion with her ex-Brown.

Rihanna opened up to Winfrey for the season-opening premiere episode of "Oprah's Next Chaper." In the episode, the "S&M" singer confessed that she "still loves" Brown.

"You know what I loved about that interview is that she came with a big, wide open heart," Winfrey told Extra about her interview with Rihanna. "She was in the space of forgiveness. And that she learned a lesson, that she was repeating with Chris Brown exactly what she needed to learn from her father."

Rihanna's interview with Winfrey was the first time the award-winning singer discussed the highly publicized incident with the R&B singer, when he infamously assaulted her in February, 2009.

When Winfrey asked the "We Found Love" singer how she felt about Brown today, Rihanna said, "I still love him...We have maintained a very close friendship ever since the restraining order was dropped. We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will."

Rihanna professed they are "very, very close friends" and that she "truly still loves him."

Both Brown and Rihanna were spotted on dates together in New York three days in a row last week.

They attended Jay-Z's concert at the Barclays Stadium in Brooklyn together on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

The next day, Brown announced his split with girlfriend Karrueche Tran through a press statement, citing his renewed friendship with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

"I have decided to be single to focus on my career," wrote Brown. "I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."

Winfrey's opinion are quite different from what she told a guest on her former talk show back in 2009.

When Winfrey was asked by Tyra Banks, a guest on her show that day, how she felt about Rihanna getting back together with Brown after the highly publicized scandal, Winfrey replied: "Let me tell you why she got back with him, in my opinion," Winfrey said. "If you go back with a man who hits you, it is because you don't feel you're worthy of being with a man who won't."
