5 Seconds of Summer had a busy weekend as they attended the Kids' Choice Awards 2015 Saturday night and Sunday night they went to the iHeartRADIO Music Awards.
5 Seconds of Summer Signs Hey Violet To Their Label
The band came up short at the Kids' Choice Awards when it came to winning the award they were nominated for, but at the iHeartRADIO Music Awards them and their fans proved to be the best of the best since they won for Best Fan Army.

Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford's fans were up against some serious competition given the other nominees being Beyoncé's Bey Hive, Chris Brown's Team Breezy, Eric Church's Church Choir, Selena Gomez's Selenators, Ariana Grande's Arianators, Shawn Mendes' Mendes Army, One Direction's Directioners, Ed Sheeran's Sheerios and Taylor Swift's Swifties.

Considering how passionate each act's fan army is, this is a major accomplishment.
Hemmings, Hood, Irwin and Clifford made a short video to thank their fans for being so amazing.

"Congratulations!" Irwin beamed as the others yelled out "You won!" in the background.
"You absolutely dominated," Irwin dished, praising the 5SOSFAM.
The band shared a photo from the moment they went up on stage to accept the award too.

The members of 5SOS also took the time to tweet out their love individually to the fandom.
"[Y]ou guys are the best," Clifford revealed after stating "I'm not gonna be lame" since he did state he had so much to say, but he kept it short and sweet.

Irwin continued to praise the 5SOSFAM by telling them they "absolutely RULE".

The drummer then got super sentimental and thanked the fans for giving them so many "amazing moments in life" since their weekend was full of memorable instances.
