Investigators were able to recover the conversations recorded on one of the "black boxes" and apparently examiners have concluded that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz locked the captain out of the cockpit and then purposely crashed the jet.

On Sunday, CNN spoke with Senior International Correspondent Frederik Pleitgen and according to the reporter, the Bild Newspaper, the largest newspaper in Germany, released excerpts from the transcript and apparently Lubitz was already planning to lock the pilot out of the cockpit.

In the recordings Capt. Patrick Sondenheimer can be heard screaming, "For God's sake, open the door!" as he tried to knock the cockpit door open. A short thirteen minutes later, the plane slammed into the French Alps.

According to the Pleitgen, while the flight was delayed for 20 minutes, he says that everything appeared to be normal but there are a few signs that the co-pilot was already setting up the captain to leave the cockpit so that he could crash the plane into the mountains.

The captain was heard telling Lubitz that he didn't use the restroom before takeover and Lubitz tells him he can go anytime.

After reaching their cruising altitude, Sondenheimer asked Lubitz to prepare for landing. After receiving the instructions, Lubitz tells the captain he "can go anytime."

In the recording, there is a sound of the captain's seat being pulled backward and shortly after he is heard saying, "You can take over."

At 10:29 a.m. air traffic receives notification that the plane is descending and three mintues later, after air controllers try to contact the plane, they receive no answer. Shortly after, an alarm goes off in the cockpit just before the jet crashed into the mountain.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing, so be sure to check back in for more updates as the story unfolds.
