A new sneak peek of the Finding Carter season 2 premiere has been released with what happens after the main character tries to escape from her kidnapper.

The scene posted on MTV on Monday shows Carter running away from Lori in the middle of the street. As Lori chases after her, the two run in the intersection almost causing a terrible collision.

When Carter makes her way onto a hill, Lori manages to catch up to her and stop her from getting away. She then tells her captivated daughter that she can't let her go until she and Taylor know everything.

This is when Carter asks the big mystery question surrounding this ordeal: "What does Taylor have to do with anything?"

Unfortunately, Lori does not give an official answer to this and just says that they'll find out soon. But the scene continues when the kidnapper takes a photo of Carter with her phone and tells her to text that to Taylor telling her she's okay.

Lori then tries to tell the teenager that she needs to understand and remember when times were different. Carter remembers, but she doesn't see this woman the same way she used to.

Lori just wants one more chance to explain everything as Carter gives in and appears to send the text to her sister.

Finding Carter Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
