On Friday we reported on the premise of the April 14 episode of NCIS, which is called Lost in Translation.

McGee Gets Jealous On Upcoming Episode Of 'NCIS'

Jennifer Corbett wrote the episode and since it began filming on March 17, she has been sharing behind-the-scenes pictures on her Twitter.

On March 17 she enthusiastically tweeted, "Episode #279, Day One. Let's do this!"

In the episode, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will work closely with Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop (Emily Wickersham) on a case that will take them overseas to Afghanistan.

On March 19, the writer for NCIS shared a photo of a "guest star" that will probably be found in the final cut of the episode once it airs on April 14.

On the following day, the crew and cast were waiting for the sun to go down to do a night shoot. Corbett captured the view as the sun began to set.

Last Monday marked the fifth day of filming for the episode. Each episode takes around eight days to shoot.

Corbett shared a photo of the sun peeking through some trees.

It seems like a lot of the scenes in this episode will be outdoor ones.

Last Wednesday, the episode took to shooting in MTAC (Multiple Threat Alert Center), which is seen pretty frequently during NCIS episodes.

On Thursday, Corbett revealed her color-coordinated scripts from the episode. A lot clearly goes into the filming of each episode of the show.

Also on Thursday, Wickersham struck a pose for Corbett behind-the-scenes.

The episode wrapped filming Thursday night.

Despite wrapping on Thursday for Lost in Translation, Corbett shared one last photo on Saturday, which was taken inside MTAC too.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
