Holly Madison Calls Life At Playboy Mansion A 'Nightmare'

Ahead of the release of her tell-all book about her days at the Playboy mansion, the former Girls Next Door star and Playboy model appears to be letting her fans know she's moved on from the heartache suffered during her younger years.

"Those with the strength to succeed in the long run are the ones who build themselves up with the bricks that life has thrown at them," read a Twitter message sent from her page.

Earlier this month, Madison announced the upcoming release of her memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. In the book, Madison opened up about the "oppressive routine of strict rules, manipulation, and [her] battles with ambitious, backstabbing bunnies."

"I’m excited to finally share my story and what I’ve learned from my personal experiences both inside and outside of the Playboy Mansion," Madison explained to Us Weekly. "I think my stories will surprise people and I’m looking forward to lifting the veil of mystique and clearing up the misconceptions so often associated with my life."

Following her days at the mansion, Madison married Pasquale Rotella. The two share a daughter, Rainbow Aurora, who turned two earlier this month.

Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny hits bookstores on June 23.
