At the end of his speech, the pop star thanked his wife, Jessica Biel, who is close to giving birth to their first child.

"You can't have innovation without creation," Timberlake said. "So finally, I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator- my wife, Jessica, at home who's watching. Honey, I can't wait to see our greatest creation yet. Don't worry- daddy's heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

Timberlake had a lot more to discuss on stage since he has quite a few talents up his sleeve, earning him this award. With a record consisting of singing, dancing, acting and comedy routines, the star admitted that he wasn't the type of person that people would expect to be seen during this surreal moment.

He then delivered words of wisdom to anyone who might be scared to follow his or her dreams due to criticism from people who would deem their behavior as "weird."

"If you're a young person like I used to be, and you're at home watching and you're being called 'weird' or being called 'different' or whatever the hell you're being called, I'm here tonight to tell you your critics do not count. Their words will fade. You won't," Timberlake said.

"Stay foolish, stay hungry, dream, work hard," he continued. "And who knows, maybe someday you'll find yourself standing on a stage and maybe someday somebody will be giving you an award calling you an Innovator."
