Ryan Edwards is in trouble with Maci Bookout's best friend -- but it's not what you think.

Is Ryan Edwards' Girlfriend Hiding From 'Teen Mom' Fans After Reconciliation?

On Twitter, Raj Patel, the longtime best friend of Teen Mom Maci Bookout and MTV guest star, called out Edwards for falling through with their weekend plans.

"You better have god damn good reason for flaking," read a message sent to Edwards on Saturday from Patel's Twitter account. "I was tired to be honest I feel asleep," Edwards explained a short time after receiving the tweet.

Edwards and Bookout struggled during filming on Teen Mom OG, when it came to the parenting of their 6-year-old son, Bentley. Although Bookout typically deals with Edwards parents for issues related to visitation, she is forced to interact with Edwards when the cameras are around, and it's not always easy.

In the trailer for the series, Bookout and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, were seen arriving to what was supposed to be a designated meeting area where Edwards would pick up Bentley. However, after 15 minutes, Edwards was no where to be seen. During a heated phone call, Edwards called Bookout a "dumba**" as he sat in the car with on-again, off-again girlfriend Shelby Woods.

On Twitter, after reading Edwards' response to their missed plans, Patel told him. "I'm so disappointed in you! But dont worry im coming back to give you a hug later today."
