Rumors are still flying about Mark Wahlberg's conspicuous absence from their August wedding, but Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are hoping to put all the speculation to rest.

Jenny McCarthy Disses 'The View'

In their appearance on The Howard Stern Show March 30, the newlywed couple opened up about Donnie's brother not coming to their wedding when Stern explained he couldn't understand why he wasn't there to support his brother on the biggest day of his life.

"Mark didn't go to the wedding, it was his daughter's birthday the day after and you know what, I didn't go to Mark's wedding," Donnie said. "It wasn't personal,I was working."

"Me and Mark probably, and my wife can attest to this...it's how hard we work," he added. "Mar and I probably work 340 days a year. If he wants to take one of the 24 days off to be with his daughter for her birthday...if Mark wants to spend that day with his daughter instead of spending it with me and my wife...it's all good."

He went on to continue that things are good between his brother and his wife as well.

"With the times he's met her, he's been very gracious and wonderful," he said.

When Stern continued pressing Wahlberg for details on the relationship he has with his brother, the older brother also said that there has been no falling out, and the brothers have just distanced themselves over the years because of their careers-but there's no animosity between the two because of their varied successes.

"I knew what I wanted to do, and to me, I have everything I want...Mark wants different things," he said. "But we're in business together, with the restaurants and stuff like that, and it really helps our sort of different perspectives on things."
