Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes might be two of the most popular celebrities on YouTube, but a person can't have all the glory without receiving a little dirt.

Zoe Sugg Opens Up On Her Haters

On Wednesday, Hollywood Life posted an interview with Deyes, the boyfriend of Suggs, who dished on the hateful comments he receives on his videos and how hurtful they can be. But conveniently for him, that doesn't happen very often.

"I am lucky enough to not get a lot of hate on YouTube," the 'Pointless Blog' star said. "I think it's especially hard for people who vlog and are really true to themselves because if somebody was to comment on a video of mine, they aren't criticizing my videos, but they are criticizing my life."

Are Zoe Sugg & Alfie Deyes Competitive On YouTube?

Deyes then pointed out that he doesn't let any nasty remarks about his videos get the best of him.

"For me personally, I don't really get affected, I can read any comment about me in the world and it wouldn't really bother me because I don't know the person and I know they wouldn't say it to my face if they saw me in the streets," he said.

Even though it may not bother him, Deyes explained that these mean words are still a form of bullying.

"I know a lot of people can get really hurt by their comments, people brush it off like 'oh it doesn't matter, they have millions of subscribers, they get so many nice comments, I'm sure they don't care,' but it is bullying," he said.
