NCIS: Los Angeles will close out season 6 with an intense three-part story.

'NCIS: LA' Season 6 Spoilers: Renee Smith Dishes On Nell & Eric, Should Neric Exist?

Set to conclude on May 18, the CBS drama will pen a major build up to the untitled final episode. Starting with "Beacon" and continuing in "Field of Fire" and episode 22 the Office of Special Projects will embark on an interconnected, three-episode long investigation that will keep viewers occupied until the series moves into the finale.

"Beacon" is directed by Diana Valentine and penned by Jordana Lewis Jaffe. The episode will open with the alleged death of a NCIS ally - most likely Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) - but Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) will quickly realize their old friend is alive and kicking - and in need of their help.

Eventually, the team's mission will throw them into an investigation of Mother Russia. It appears there may be a breach of America's sanctions against the foreign country, and it will be up to Hetty's (Linda Hunt) team to unravel the mystery.
