Pretty Little Liars has placed Charles in the crosshairs, but that doesn't mean the Liars have forgotten about Bethany Young.

Titles Revealed For 'Pretty Little Liars' Episodes 2 & 3, Series 'Racing To The Finish Line'

Killed by Melissa Hastings - but attacked by an unknown entity - Bethany became of great interest to the Liars in season 5. The former Radley Sanitarium patient was originally believed to be a key player in the "twin theory," but that house of cards apparently collapsed when Charles DiLaurentis came into the picture. However, the 'A' story won't come to a conclusion without resolving the issue of Alison's lookalike.

"You'll find out this summer who hit Bethany [before Melissa killed her] and why," series creator Marlene King told TV Guide.

Many viewers have speculated that it was actually Charles who hit Bethany with a shovel, and perhaps 'A's actions - and motives - will help illuminate the reasons behind Bethany's untimely demise. Could the two have stayed at Radley together? It seems Charles is defiantly not a healthy and sane person, meaning he probably spent at least part of his young life institutionalized.
