A new report flirts with the exciting possibility of a battle between the T-Rex and Indominus Rex in Jurassic World.

Jurassic World Opens "A Whole New Frontier," Reveals New Still

Movie Pilot engages the prospect of the former antagonist of the Jurassic Park movies going up against the new hybrid beast in order to claim his throne in the dino kingdom. This does sound like a credible probablility. In the most recently released TV spot for the film, it is revealed that the Indominus Rex is not just killing out of necessity but for sport, and a bunch of other dinosaurs are seen dead strewn across the park. This means the Indominus Rex might be trying to assert its dominance, which might not go down well with the former terror of the park, the T-Rex.

Enstars had previously suspected that the T-Rex might play for the good side this time, might have to do with the fact that it was revealed earlier that most of the known dinosaurs on the park will be tame in someway and the new hybrid dinosaur will throw things out of control. This could mean that the T-Rex will help tackle the antagonist force.

Jurassic World Has A 'Really Cool Factor To It'

On the other hand, as it is believed that part of the DNA of the Indominus Rex will be drawn from the T-Rex, and it will share some of the main characteristics of the carnivore, the T-Rex might relate to the new beast. It might also trigger the dark side of the monster.

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, and Ty Simpkins.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
