On Friday, Advocate shared an interview with the queen who admitted that she was pretty surprised that she became the next contestant to 'sashay away.'

"I was pretty sure I was staying," she said. "It was my first lip-synch, and right after we performed, I thought, 'Okay, you got this!' But then, bam. Wrongo bongo! Regardless, I walked away grateful, positive, and looking forward to a successful career. I wanted people to say, 'Wow, she's positive, and a lady!'"

Davis then opened up on Trixie Mattel who was taken out of the competition in an earlier episode. This became a big surprise since Mattel was a critically acclaimed queen who the other girls seemed to love. Even though she may have left the race earlier than expected, Davis sees a positive future for her.

"At the time, I was shocked, and then watching the show, I feel the same way," Davis said. "Trixie has a very unique and interesting outlook on drag, and her wit and comedy are quick and colorful. She will go far...she's touring in Europe, for goodness sakes! But it was very clear Trixie won that lip-synch."

RuPaul's Drag Race airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Logo TV.
