Dakota Johnson & Jamie Dornan Talk About Roles In 'Fifty Shades Darker' Film

Producer Dana Brunetti sat down with the Hollywood Reporter to dish about the rumors surrounding the drama and he's giving the real story.

"People are always going to disagree, but ultimately if you don't agree, then the movie doesn't get completed and released or it ends up being absolutely horrible because somebody says, 'It's my way or the highway.' And that never works."

Brunetti says that because the franchise has become so popular, all of the drama was blown out of proportion and the story isn't as big as the media is making it.

"This got blown out of proportion because anything with Fifty Shades in the headline got attention. Big whoop. There's disagreements every f---ing day, every setup, every shot. The press just ran with this and blew it into a much bigger issue than it ever was."

As a result of Johnson's decision, production has experience even more delays and execs are currently looking for another director to join the team.

Actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been told to plan on an early 2016 shoot for a 2017 release.
