A former star of Oxygen's long-running Bad Girls Club show has died at age 22.

Linsey 'Jade' Berardi, a Brooklyn N.Y. native who appeared on the show's 12th season in 2014, passed away on April 3, a statement from Oxygen confirmed.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Linsey 'Jade' Berardi, who appeared in Bad Girls Club Season 12," the statement read. "Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts go out to her family, friends and fans."

Berardi was kicked off the show during her season after reportedly getting into an altercation with a cameraman on the show, and was later replaced within the house.

Two of her former co-stars have since spoken out about her death, taking to social media to talk about their time with her.

"I pray that the news is not true but if it is I send my condolences to Lindsey's family and friends #BGC12," Lo London (Loren Jordan) tweeted April 2.

Jada Cachalli, a Queens, N.Y. native who also co-starred with Berardi, also took to social media to express her sympathy over the loss.

"Sad to find out @linsey.jade life was cut so short...Despite our introduction n BGC we became cool and were able to let the BS go," she captioned a photo on her Instagram page. "However she was taken, I pray it was a peaceful depart. We may not have been friends BUT we shared an experience most will never have or truly understand. #RIPLINSEY #BGC12."

Though there has been no official cause of death reported for Berardi, Cachalli did later seem to hint on her Twitter page that it may have been drug-related.

"Drugs ruin so many lives..." she wrote.
