Rumors surround the Law and Order: SVU, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire three-part cross over episode have been circling the Internet for quite some time, and now there are finally some new details.

On Monday, the Hollywood Reporter announced that after the NBC drama's received impressive reviews and had very high ratings the television producer has decided to try it again.

The site reported that Roberts will play the role of Greg Yates, a charismatic doctor who becomes the prime suspect of series of rapes and murders.

Sadly there aren't too many details to give away however luckily for fans the 3 part cross over episode isn't too far away. The site also confirmed that the episodes are scheduled to air on April 28 and 29 on NBC.

To help viewers prepare for the crossover event, SVU recently revealed some shocking details about Wednesday night's new episode and it looks like Olivia Benson could be in some trouble.

In the new episode, Granting Immunity, Detective Benson and the team have to track down a group of mothers who have falsified their children's medical records and she's also dealing with issues surrounding her new baby Noah.
