After upsetting millions of fans around the world by shockingly leaving the group One Direction, while some fans may still be upset with Zayn Malik, it looks like there's no resentment between him and his former band mates.

After speaking out since becoming a group of four, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson said that they were definitely sadden by Malik's decision but they wish him well and assure their fans that they'll always love him.

A source close to Malik recently spoke to Hollywood Life and apparently the singer wishes them the best but says he had to leave the band for his own issues.

"There is absolutely no bad blood between any of them and he wishes them the best for the future. When he's back from holiday, and the lads take a break from their world tour, he hopes they will all be able to talk about it in person," the insider said.

"The comments by Liam that said they were gutted hit home for him - he never intended of letting the boys down but knew it just wasn't for him anymore," the source continued.

Apparently Malik still has a lot of love for his former band mates and allegedly there's no bad blood between any of them.

"He was thankful that none of them slammed him because he was a little worried one of them might. Instead, he thought that they were very respectful for what he's going through and understood his plight. There's no animosity."

While Malik may no longer be apart of the band, his love for music is far from over and sources claim that the heartthrob is planning on starting his own solo career.
