There is so much relationship drama happening within the wings of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital!

'Grey's Anatomy' Cast Reveals What They'd Like To See Happen In The Season 11 Finale

Thursday night during the episode Crazy Love, it seemed as though Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) called off her relationship with Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd), which seems to have a lot to do with what her sister-in-law Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) had to say about them.

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed some insight straight from Scorsone and McKidd about their characters' complicated relationship and overall hurt feelings.

"She calls it off but I don't know to what extent she believes he's going to believe her," Scorsone said of her character telling McKidd's character they're done.

McKidd admitted that during Crazy Love, his character and Amelia had "mutually hurt each other" by the exchanges they had since "it's very exposing when you're in that first flush of the relationship when you feel quite vulnerable; you're not sure what the other person is feeling."

They are currently not together now, but in next week's episode called One Flight Down, the press release from ABC noted that they will not be getting along well in the hospital and the tension between them will be clear.

Is the tension between them all bad? Maybe not since McKidd shared, "But there's still an attraction, draw and pull toward each other.

"It's almost like their hearts are telling them they should be together, but their minds and their rational beings are saying for all these reasons they shouldn't be together: 'You're damaged. I'm damaged. We're both messed up. So we should leave it at that,'" he explained.

"There's going to be a real tension between them about this question of whether they are going to move forward or not," McKidd concluded.

Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
