When Solange Knowles' friend and business partner, Armina Mussa, was brutally stabbed 10 times by a friend of her roommate, the singer dropped everything and rushed to her side.

TMZ reported on Friday that Mussa is currently in the hospital in critical condition as Knowles is sitting bedside waiting to get results on whether she is expected to recover.

Apparently, Mussa was attacked on Wednesday by Arronesia Chrostophe who reportedly pulled a knife during an argument the two were having. She stabbed her repeatedly including in the neck.

Knowles was also reportedly in court for Christophe's arraignment on charges of attempted second degree murder and aggravated battery. Her bail is allegedly set to $50,000.

According to a report on Nola.com, Christophe reportedly pulled a small folding knife from the console in her car and told Mussa to "get back" and to "please back away" as Mussa continued to yell at her.

A representative for Knowles said on Friday that she has no comment on the issue but has confirmed that she was not in New Orleans at the time of the incident. she reportedly was in Los Angeles where she cancelled her DJing event for Coachella and immediately flew back.

A source told the site that Knowles appeared "very concerned" while in court.

Mussa is the Project Director for Knowle's artistic and creative brand as well as the co-owner for their French boutique, Exodus Gods.
