She left her very popular role on The Bold and the Beautiful at the end of last year to pursue other ventures, but new reports allege that Kim Matula wants to return to CBS and her role of Hope Logan once again.

Hope's Return To Be Via Video Chat?

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Matula began to reconsider her decision to leave completely after she briefly returned to the set on March 4 to film her April 17th and April 20th cameos, and now, she is changing her mind and opening her schedule up a little bit more so she can make more appearances later on.

"Insiders have hinted that this might not be the last viewers will see of Matula, who has expressed an interest in returning to her old soap stomping grounds for occasional cameos as her schedule permits," the website claims.

What Kim Matula's Return Means For Hope Logan Recast

And according to the website, Matula's schedule has been very open as of late, fueling more of her interest in coming back, and head writer Bradley Bell is allegedly also very receptive to her return-which is why he previously changed his tune about whether or not Matula's role would be recast. He had initially said they were considering a recast, but later said no recast would take place at the moment.

Matula's last air date was back in December, when her character went off to Italy following a fall down a staircase, resulting in her having a miscarriage and losing the baby she was expecting with her husband, Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Since her character's disappearance, she has been brought up in the conversation again, specifically when Wyatt revealed the two were now getting a divorce.

Matula's upcoming guest spot is rumored to be shot as though via video chat-meaning Hope will still be based in Italy.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
