It looks as though Sofia Vergara has a good friend she can count on in Hollywood. Her Hot Pursuit co-star Reese Witherspoon recently revealed that the two women have fast become best friends, even though they can't understand what they are saying to each other half the time.

According to Contact Music on Monday, Witherspoon opened up in a new interview (via InStyle Magazine) about their friendship and how they have plenty of things in common, even though they are two totally different women.

The blonde beauty said, "As soon as I met Sofia, I said, 'I want to make a movie with you'. I think she's the next Lucille Ball."

Witherspoon added, "She and I together are such a funny thing because we represent two completely different cultures and kinds of women, but we just love each other. We laughed so much."

And while they get along very well, Witherspoon does admit that they sometimes do have a language barrier, thanks to their different accents. 

"I couldn't understand what she was saying half the time," she said, jokingly. "She couldn't understand what I was saying half the time. But we both love cake, clothes, kids and our families."

Their new on-screen offering, Hot Pursuit hits theaters on May 8. This is the first film both ladies have starred in together.
