Fans of Elvis Presley have the chance to live within the same walls where The King once lived - for $12.9 million.

The sprawling estate, which includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms, offers 5,367 square feet of space and a lot that measures 1.18 acres. The home was previously available for lease with a $25,000 per month price tag, but now the property has hit the market and is available for purchase.

Presley's family moved into the home in 1967, about nine years after it was constructed, and lived there until it was sold on Aug. 31, 1973, just before the divorce between Elvis and Priscilla became final. The couple's only child, daughter Lisa Marie Presley, was born one year after the Presleys purchased the Beverly Hills home.

The home offers many amenities including lots of sunlight, French doors, a pool and spa in the backyard and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout that offer spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.

Though Presley spent several years in this Beverly Hills property, the home is not seen as the center of his world. Instead, fans flock by the thousands each year to Graceland, his estate in Memphis Tennessee, to pay homage to The King.

But earlier this year, during an interview marking the 35th anniversary of Elvis' death in 1977, his ex-wife Priscilla revealed that Graceland almost never became what it is today.

"I was told that Elvis passed, and that he'll be forgotten in the next couple of years. Life goes on," she said on the "Today" show. "Thank God I didn't listen to any of those people."

Despite the naysayers, the residence opened up to the public in 1982 and interest exploded, drawing 600,000 visitors a year and becoming a National Historic Landmark. Priscilla said that fanfare is important to her because Elvis thought he would be forgotten by the world after his death.

"And to see this every year? It's like, 'Oh my gosh, you were wrong. Look at this! Look what you do every year,'" she said. "It brings a smile to my face, because...if he only knew."
