Just weeks after winning a defamation case in the ongoing saga of alleged gay assault, John Travolta debuted a new look this weekend.

Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, attended Barbra Streisand's concert at the newly opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday, and Travolta was sporting what The Daily Mail calls a "bizarre goatee."

Streisand's concert is one of the first few events at the Barclays Center, which was christened with a bang after Jay-Z played several shows there earlier this month. Travolta and Preston plunked down a hefty sum to see Streisand, as tickets were on sale for just less than $1,500.

The concert comes just after Travolta won a defamation suit against him.

Author Rupert Randolph, who wrote "You'll Never Spa In This Town Again," an in-depth examination of the gay culture in Hollywood spas, contributed to a newspaper story about several cases of sexual assault that Travolta allegedly committed against men who gave him massages. Randolph claimed he had witnessed the incidents first hand.

But after Travolta's attorneys filed suit to discredit Randolph and alleged that he suffered from mental illness, Randolph filed his own suit, claiming Travolta had defamed him and that his book would suffer.

But a judge ruled in favor of Travolta and his legal team, claiming that what Travolta's attorneys did was part of a "protected pre-litigation demand letter." The judge also added that he felt Randolph used the controversy surrounding him as an opportunity to promote his book.

Though Travolta has been married to Preston since 1981, numerous allegations of homosexual conduct have been levied on him. Most recently, he was sued in May by two separate male massage therapists who claimed Travolta made unwanted sexual advances toward them. Both suits have since been dropped.
