Chris O’Donnell became famous at around the same age when most people are just finishing college. The actor grabbed the attention of moviegoers and critics alike in his early twenties thanks to roles in a string of successful films throughout the early 90s, from Fried Green Tomatoes to Scent of Woman.

And then of course, there was his turn as Batman sidekick Robin in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. A solid run of guest parts, like “McVet” on Grey’s Anatomy, and supporting roles, as in the Liam Neeson-led biopic Kinsey, carried him through most of the early 2000s. And for the past six years, viewers have tuned into O’Donnell as the co-lead (shared with LL Cool Jay) on the hit procedural NCIS: LA, a spinoff of the network tentpole NCIS (itself a spinoff).

Enstar recently got the chance to catch up with O’Donnell in our hometown of NYC, which the actor was visiting to help promote insurance company John Hancock’s new life insurance that rewards consumers for living healthier, and talked about other CBS shows that he’d prefer to do crossover episodes with, what he likes about visiting New York, and how he feels about being labeled “squeaky clean” in Hollywood.

Check it all out below and please forgive the poor video quality, we accidentally had the camera set to “potato.”

Enjoy!
