More women than expected could flock to theaters when the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2 opens up, with a swoon-worthy co-star opposite Harrison Ford. 

Ryan Gosling To Star Opposite Emma Stone For A Third Time?

According to Time, Ryan Gosling is in talks to star alongside Ford in the sequel film, though his place in the film has not been confirmed.  

The sequel, which will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, will take place several years after the end of the 1982 original film which saw Ford's character, Rick Deckard, tasked with hunting down and killing machines that are identical to humans.  Ford is reprising his role in the film, which is scheduled to begin Principal photography in the summer of 2016.

The news comes on the heels of Gosling reportedly considering signing on to another project, which would see him re-teaming with his frequent co-star, Emma Stone, in a musical film, La La Land.  The two had previously starred alongside each other as romantic co-leads in 2011's Crazy Stupid Love and again in 2013's Gangster Squad.  

It also comes after photos of the actor surfaced with him sporting a very different look--as he begins filming his new movie The Big Short in New Orleans. Instead of sporting his usual light brown and blond locks, the actor was seen with a new, much darker do--which has shocked his scores of fans.  

However, they can hopefully be relieved that the actor will return to his roots once his newest film shoot has ended.
