Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute struck up an unlikely friendship during the Vanderpump Rules season 3 reunion, but did it last?

Stassi Schroeder Returns To TV In E! Series

Earlier this week, Schroeder, who may or may not return to the show for season 4, shared a tweet with fans about an upcoming episode of her new podcast, Straight Up With Stassi. After seeing the tweet, Doute reached out.

"Tall and anorexic are the comments I strive for #goals," Doute tweeted to Schroeder, in response to her post about "girl passive aggression," which would be discussed on her radio show.

After Doute was fired from SUR Lounge during Vanderpump Rules season 3, she and Schroeder were seen meeting for lunch, at which point they reportedly began speaking again after months of estrangement. As fans will recall, Doute admitted to sleeping with Schroeder's ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor, during season 2, which put an understandable stain on their friendship.

Although Schroeder didn't responds to Doute's tweet publicly, she did favorite the post, which seems to confirm their friendship is still on.

Because both women are no longer working at SUR Lounge, where Vanderpump Rules is shot, it is unclear if they will return to the show for season 4. While Schroeder appeared as a cast member during season 3, after she quit her job at the restraurant, she was only featured in a part-time role. However, if she and Doute are now close, that could mean extended roles for the both of them during season 4.
