His attempt to try and prove his own innocence in the murder of his son has sent Ben Crawford (Ryan Phillippe) on a spree of accusing his neighbors of the murder on Secrets and Lies, but he may quickly learn that someone who is guilty of the crime has actually been hiding right in his own family.

Ben Uncovers Shocking Information About Cornell

In a sneak peek clip for the Sunday, April 19 episode, Ben is spending Christmas without his family now that Christy (KaDee Strickland) and his daughters have left--but he will still receive a visit from Dave (Dan Fogler).

His friend will try helping him piece together the night of Tom's murder following Cornell's shocking video evidence of Ben showing up at Tom and Jess' (Natalie Martinez) house--but as they try to figure out what happened, Dave will feel the need to come clean with a major secret.

Things Getting More 'Threatening' For Ben's Family

"I've got to tell you something," Dave says in the clip. "I should have told you a long time ago, but I didn't know how to do it."

Naturally, Ben will become concerned by the fact that Dave has been keeping something from him--which will make Dave even more nervous as he tries to confess.

"Um...you were going through so much you know?" Dave continues. "And just trust that I wanted to come clean so many times, you've got to believe me, but I couldn't...I just...couldn't."

And now, Ben will be truly scared--because Dave could be confessing to knowing something that could either save him from going to jail--or further destroy his credibility and build the case against him.

"What did you do?" Ben asks. "Dave what did you do?"
