That seems to be the mystery question right now ever since it was revealed that the popular supermodel was going to leave those days behind. But it looks like that may not be the official case.

On Thursday, New York Times mentioned that Bundchen's agent Anne Nelson said that there have been thousands of calls ever since this news came about. She then added something else that ought to cause some heads to turn.

"There's been a lot of things that were lost in translation throughout this whole process," Nelson said.

The model took to her Instagram page earlier this week where she seemed to imply that she's going to be away from the runway industry for a while.

"Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business," she wrote.

Bundchen's husband, Tom Brady, took to Facebook to congratulate his wife on her questionable retirement.

You inspire me every day to be a better person," he wrote about his wife. "I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway. I have never met someone with more of a will to succeed and determination to overcome any obstacle in the way. You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more than you and your beauty runs much deeper than what the eye can see. I can't wait to see what's next. I love you."

Only time will tell from here on what awaits for Bundchen in her modeling career.
