"Dancing with the Stars; All-Stars" aired last night, Oct. 15, on ABC and after the couples had to dance to routines chosen by their fellow competitors, some struggled more than others. They also had guest judge Paula Abdul to answer to.

Many of the professional dancers had to teach their celebrity partners dances that they had never choreographed before. Karina Smirnoff had to teach her partner, professional athlete Apolo Ohno, a 90's inspired hip-hop routine, chosen for them by their fellow dancers Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani, and Smirnoff was not at all happy about it.

"Hip-Hop is definitely out of my element," she said.

When it was first announced that they had to do hip-hop, Smirnoff cursed on stage and a clip shown in last night's episode revealed that she did the same during rehearsals with Ohno. The couple struggled to create a routine and when they performed on stage to the hit "Poison," Ohno lost his body mike during a move and Smirnoff made a slight slip, which later made her cry.

She said she felt embarrassed and that she let her partner down. However, the judges applauded them for their risk-taking stunts and for grasping such a hard task so well. The couple received a score of 34.5 out of a possible 40 for the night, putting them in the middle of the leaderboard.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she appreciated the "modern edge" of the dance and Len Goodman said Ohno was "out there smoking." Abdul then added that he has "swag."

Kristie Alley and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy scored the lowest of the night with their Charleston routine (30 out of 40) and Gilles Marini and Shawn Johnson, with their partners, tied for the highest score - 39.5 out of 40.

Other highlights from the night included Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy's contemporary number, the first of that dance style to ever be on "DWTS." The dance received praise from all the judges (bringing Inaba to slight tears) and Goodman said Monaco was the "biggest revelation" of this season so far.

Watch "DWTS" tonight on ABC to see which couple will be the next to go home.
