The new global trailer for Jurassic World was unveiled on April 20 and fans finally get a good look at the mysterious Indominus Rex.

T-Rex Vs. Indominus Rex In Jurassic World?

The clip starts with Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) training the raptors by "earning their respect." Dr Henry Wu (B.D. Wong) is also seen in the video, informing that the Indominus was designed to be bigger than the T-Rex. The intimidating beast is shown in full toward the end of the clip, after various allusions to its presence -- from attacking the security team of the park to smashing the vehicular pod which contains two kids. The monster looks much like the T-Rex from which she is derived but has spikes trailing her back and seems to have sharper teeth, like those of an aquatic creature.

Some dialogue shared between Owen and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) previously revealed in an exclusive clip from the movie is also featured in the trailer.

Jurassic World Already Under Fire For Being 'Sexist'?

Bits of information about the Indominus Rex that have been revealed and shown in previous trailers of the film are reiterated, like the facts that she kills for sport, is a highly intelligent creature, and ate her own sister.

Jurassic World has been directed by Colin Trevorrow, and also stars Irrfan Khan, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Judy Greer and Jake Johnson.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
