Orange Is the New Black actress Taryn Manning recently revealed what was in store for her character, Pennsatucky, and who she likes to hang out with among her costars.

Manning, who plays Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett on Orange Is the New Black, spoke with In Style recently and discussed season 3 of the Netflix prison series.

She teased that Pennsatucky "continues to evolve" in the upcoming third season. She also said that while she does not exactly relate to her character much, "the one thing I can relate to is the underdog quality of her."

Pennsatucky reformed her more overtly zealous ways in season 2, so fans may expect to see a more stable version of the character in the new season. It has been said that the third season will largely be about "faith," so her own journey through faith may be explored.

As for who Manning likes to hang out with while off set, she said Lea DeLaria (who plays Big Boo) and Emma Myles (Leanne), adding, "I love Taylor [Schilling], Laura Prepon. Adrienne [Moore], Jackie Cruz. We're all good friends -- but those are the ones I keep in good touch with. We have brunch."

Pennsatucky took a back seat through much of season 2 compared to other characters, so it remains to be seen if she will return to a more prevalent status like season 1.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated to be released on Friday, June 12 on Netflix. All 13 episodes will likely be revealed at once.
