Erica Mena may be joining the cast of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, and fans already have opinions on this matter.

Mena, formerly of Love and Hip Hop New York, sparked rumors that she might be joining the prison series in an interview with Hot 97 last week.

The reality star was asked about a pile of scripts she has been reading recently, and Mena said "Well one of them is actually, something you guys are going to hear about real soon."

When pressed about what type of role she would be playing and if she would be playing herself, she replied, "No, but I'm in jail."

This obviously prompted the hosts to ask her directly if she was going to be on Orange Is the New Black, to which she said "I can't say anything," she said, adding: "My publicist is looking at me right now."

The Enstars report was re-tweeted by Mena herself, which prompted many of her followers to weigh in on the matter.

"This is already my favorite show! I'd be so addicted if I got to see #HER," one follower wrote.

"Waaaaah lemme find out OITNB is my show boo", another wrote.

Others were less positive about the prospect of Mena joining the show.

"I sure hope not she sucks as an actress" one follower said.

Another boldly said, "OMG this is one of my fave shows and my heart literally sunk when I saw this..the show will be ruined!"

With season 3 already in the can, it is possible that Mena could appear in season 4, which is slated to be released in 2016 on Netflix.

Mena has not officially commented on the rumors.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated for release on Netflix on Friday, June 12.
