He's the only person in Port Charles who knows Jake's (Billy Miller) real identity, and now, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) will have to do some major explaining about how he came into possession of Jason's ring on General Hospital.

Nikolas Seeks Answers From Hayden

Jake/Jason himself found the ring at Patrick's (Jason Thompson), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) was shocked when she realized it was the one belonging to her late husband. After speculating how it got there, Patrick's daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) admitted that Nikolas' son, Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) had tried giving it to her, but she rejected it. Sam was on her way to get answers from Nikolas about how he got the ring when he showed up at Patrick's to retrieve it--and now, he will have to tell Sam everything he knows.

"I wanted to know what you knew about Jason's wedding ring," she says to Nikolas in a preview clip for the Tuesday, April 21 episode.

Jake Remembers Something From His Previous Life

Now, Nikolas will need to come up with an answer that allows him to keep the secret--but makes sense as to why the ring was there.

Likely, he will try to edit Spencer's story about the ring he tried giving Emma, claiming he was coming to fetch Britt's engagement ring, which he still had despite ending the relationship twice--pretending he had no idea that Jason's ring was even on his property--blaming its placement there on his grandmother, Helena (Constance Towers).
