The fact that they are rarely given time to be together because of their busy schedules has caused a lot of rumors about the state of country superstars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's marriage, but the Automatic singer is now saying that distance doesn't hurt their relationship at all.

While doing press during the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, the singer, who took home four trophies at the end of the night, admitted that she and her husband do spend a lot of time apart because of their hectic schedules, but that they make it work.

"I haven't seen Blake at all today, actually, it's kinda funny," she said. "We've passed through the halls a few times, but it's definitely a different way to live and to be in a relationship but I feel like our relationship started on going separate ways and we just made it work and we make sure that our time together really matters, so when we're apart, it's not really a big deal because we know when we're together, we're really together."

The pair married in 2011 and have seen speculation run rampant about their marriage in the past, though they've proven to beat the odds, despite their busy careers. Lambert is currently on tour for her album, Platinum, while her husband has been based in L.A. with his show, The Voice.
