They were a team that was favored to make it to the final leg, making the chain of events which eventually led to Olympians Aly and Steve getting eliminated in Namibia on The Amazing Race that much more heartbreaking--but the couple aren't completely ruling out the possibility that fans will see them again.

The Double U-Turn Haunts Teams In Namibia

"We are figuring things out. Neither of us are training right now," Aly said in a post-race interview with TV Guide. "We're just trying to see what the next step is...We've been getting a lot of love from fans...We'd love to come back and do [all-stars]."

"Yeah, we definitely feel like we have unfinished business," Steve added.

The two had a hard two legs in Africa, which saw them deal with difficulties at the Roadblock, being forced to do a specific Detour and getting a flat tire during their first non-elimination leg, only to deal with more roadblock problems, a speed bump, and getting U-turned in the second.

However, like some things like the flat tire were things the couple admits they couldn't be prepared for, they did expect that they would fall victim to the U-Turn.

"We were expecting to be U-Turned. We were actually expecting to be U-Turned by Tyler and Laura, so that played out exactly like we imagined," Steve said.

But overall, the two appear to believe that their flat tire was the thing that truly did them in.

"...The flat tire didn't help either," Steve said of the event that occurred after they were forced to do the longer Detour. "That was kind of the nail in the coffin."

The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
