Sophia (Laverne Cox) is going to be getting into some conflict with another character in season 3 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.

Cox recently spoke with E! News about a variety of topics, particularly what's in store for Sophia in the new season of the prison dramedy.

While Cox could not say much, as is customary with Orange Is the New Black and spoilers, she did tease a particular conflict in store for Sophia.

"It's gonna be intense," Cox teased. "[Series creator] Jenji [Kohan] was really interested in faith and what we believe in as a theme for this third season, so there's a lot of that permeates...Sophia may or may not get in some major conflict with another prisoner."

This may correlate with a scene in the season 3 trailer that was posted earlier this month, which featured Sophia and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) looking like they might come to blows.

"You need to get outta here," Gloria tells Sophia in the trailer, "before you add another hundred years to my sentence."

It is not yet known what this conflict is concerning, though all will be answered soon enough.

Luckily, fans of Orange Is the New Black do not have to worry about the show's cancellation. Netflix renewed the series for season 4 this month, which will be released in 2016.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated to be released on Friday, June 12 on Netflix.
